Actuonix L12-S Linear Actuator with Limit Switches

The L12 series is the standard range of micro linear actuators. If you need a reliable and affordable motion device, the L12-S series is the perfect choice. The L12-S features built-in limit switches that interrupt the motor’s power when the actuator moves 1mm beyond the end of its stroke. Internal diodes allow the actuator to move away from the limit switch. The limit switches are factory-set and not adjustable.

The S-series is one of the simplest micro linear actuators. Apply voltage to the device, and it will extend; reverse the polarity, and it will retract. This can be done manually using a DPDT switch (Double-Pole Double-Throw), wirelessly with a wireless linear actuator controller, or with an H-bridge circuit. The S-series actuators cannot be used with the LAC control board.

The L12-S is very compact, weighing only 28g to 56g, depending on the chosen stroke length. Its size makes it ideal for robotics applications as well as other projects with tight space and weight requirements.
