T16-P Miniature Linear Actuator with Feedback

The T16 series from Actuonix introduces a cutting-edge line of miniature linear actuators that offer a new generation of motion designs. With the same side-by-side design and versatile planetary gearbox as our P16 series, the T16 actuators provide capabilities that have never before been combined in such a compact unit. These linear actuators are an excellent alternative for developing your own push/pull mechanisms.

Like our other "P" series actuators, the T16-P does not have a built-in controller, but instead provides an analog position feedback signal that can be fed into an external controller. The "P" series can be controlled with our Linear Actuator Control Board (LAC), which allows it to be operated using USB (via our Configuration Utility Software), 0.5 V, 4-20 mA, RC Servo, or PWM. Speed, sensitivity, and stroke limits can be adjusted via the LAC. The "P" series is only available in 12V.

Our T16-P actuators are ideal for projects that require high power and custom stroke lengths or lower speeds than our standard units. Thanks to the caterpillar construction, the T16 is significantly shorter than the P16 at the same stroke length, as it uses a sliding bracket instead of an extended shaft. The sliding bracket also significantly increases the maximum side load. Using the LAC board eliminates the need to develop a custom controller or actuator.

The T16-P series includes 9 unique models with the following features:

Stroke length options: 100mm, 200mm, 300mm
3 gear options for maximum forces ranging from 50N (11lbs) to 300N (67lbs) and speeds ranging from 4.8mm/s to 46mm/s
Available only in 12V
