The Stainless Steel Mecanum Wheel includes a series of rollers with the axis of rotation at a 45° angle parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel. The Mecanum wheel uses a standard chassis shape. Each wheel can be driven by a different motor. This allows a robot to move in any direction without the wheels having to change your direction. This design allows the wheel to drive your robot forward, backward and directly sideways.
