Nexus Robot 14194 – Omni Wheel 203 mm
The Nexus Robot 14194 is an omni wheel with a 203 mm diameter. The wheel has a width of 87 mm and 10 rollers. Wheel body: Aluminum alloy. Roller material: Polyurethane.
Applications for the 14194
The 14194 is an aluminum omni wheel with polyurethane rollers and a 17 mm inner bore. According to the manufacturer, each driven small roller contains two rolling bearings. The components are CNC-machined.

Load capacity note: The specification 80 kg per wheel must be used with its stated basis. Do not derive a higher platform load by simply multiplying this figure; load distribution, center of gravity and driving maneuvers must be considered in the design.
Mounting and mechanical connection of the 14194
Before installing the 14194, check the wheel interface, shaft diameter, fasteners, bearing arrangement and clearance for the rollers. Select the hub or coupling from the actual interface and technical drawing. Wheel diameter alone does not establish compatibility with a particular accessory hub.
To integrate the Nexus Robot 14194, plan the wheel, hub or coupling and motor shaft as one mechanical connection. The specified 87 mm wheel width needs to be considered alongside the position of the motor in the frame. Use the mounting interface and available technical files to establish how the wheel is secured and how much space remains between the wheel body, frame and drive.
The rollers need clearance around the entire wheel circumference. Allow space for screw heads, brackets and side covers, and consider wheel position, ground clearance and support of the drive. Matching the shaft bore is only one part of selecting the connection: the hub interface and fasteners must also suit the wheel. When replacing a wheel on an existing chassis, compare the removed component before reusing its motor or bracket.
14194 for mobile robots, AGV concepts and transport platforms
The Nexus 14194 omni wheel is a component for an individually designed mobile platform. Its 8 inch (203 mm) diameter and 87 mm width determine the mounting space required. When selecting it for robotics or transport equipment, first establish its position in the frame and how it will connect to the intended drive.
For an AGV platform or mobile robot, chassis geometry and control need to suit the selected wheel principle. Platform movement results from the coordinated operation of all wheels and drives. Plan wheel positions for the chosen omni chassis; the arrangement of a left-hand or right-hand Mecanum wheel is not a mounting instruction for this omni wheel.
The Polyurethane rollers are a specified feature of the 14194. For a transport or experimental build, consider this material together with the stated capacity and actual running surface. Include mounted equipment and payload in the assessment. Wheel size alone does not establish either the permissible overall load or the suitability of a complete platform.
Planning the complete chassis with 14194
For an omni chassis using 14194, plan wheel positions, motor connections and control together. When selecting a replacement, compare the model, interface and dimensions against the existing build. For a new design, the specification table supports space planning and preparation of the drive connection. Select further wheels for the intended chassis geometry and check their specifications individually.
