The 48mm Omni Wheel is a rugged all-side wheel. Its rugged construction, as well as unrestricted manoeuvrability, allows this omni-wheel to be used in harsh environments and makes it ideal for industrial applications. As with all Omni-Wheels, the running surface of this Omni-Wheel consists of rollers whose axes of rotation are at a 90° angle to the axis of rotation of the wheel. This allows the wheel to be moved in the axial direction of rotation. It is mounted in a fixed position and can move and rotate 360 degrees.
