The LEGO NXT Compatible 48mm Omni-Wheel 14108

The 48 mm Omni Wheel is a robust Omni Wheel normally used in industry. As with all Omni-Wheels, the tread of this Omni-Wheel consists of rollers whose axes of rotation are at a 90° angle to the wheel's axis of rotation. This allows the wheel to be moved in the axial direction of rotation. It is mounted in a fixed position and can move and rotate 360 degrees. Its robust construction, as well as its unrestricted manoeuvring capabilities, allow this omniwheel to be used in harsh environments and make it ideal for industrial applications. The 48 mm Omnium Wheel can be used in a variety of applications such as powered conveyor systems, feeder rails, work station turntables, robot wheels, etc. It comes with an NXT compatible hub and an axis centre hub for the Arduino Motors.
