Nexus Robot NM375A: Mecanum wheel set with 375 mm diameter, 170 mm width and 9 rollers per wheel. Roller material: Steel core, coated with Polyurethane. Load capacity: 4500 kg (per set).

Nexus Robot NM375A – Mecanum Wheel Set 375 mm

The Nexus Robot NM375A is a Mecanum wheel set with a 375 mm diameter. Each wheel has a width of 170 mm and 9 rollers. Wheel body: Aluminium alloy. Roller material: Steel core, coated with Polyurethane.

Applications for the NM375A

The NM375A is the 375 mm heavy-duty set with nine rollers per wheel. Aluminum bodies and polyurethane-coated steel-core rollers are described for large transport platforms in industry, warehouses, workshops and stage systems.

Industrial
Workshops
AGVs ( Automated Guided Vehicles )
Stage and show technology
Logistics and warehousing

Suitability for a specific project depends on the load, floor surface, drive, control system and mechanical design.

Version and chassis arrangement – NM375A

The NM375A is supplied as a set of four wheels. Plan the wheel positions together with the individual control of the drives. Lateral, diagonal and rotational platform movement requires correctly arranged wheels and coordinated drives.

Materials and dimensions of the NM375A

Wheel body: Aluminium alloy. Roller material: Steel core, coated with Polyurethane. The 170 mm width and specified weight of 71 kg × 4 are included in the table below for installation planning.

Technical Specifications – Nexus Robot NM375A

Manufacturer / Brand	Nexus Robot
Manufacturer Part Number / MPN	NM375A
noDNA Part Number / SKU	23799
Version	Mecanum Wheel Set
Diameter	375 mm (15 inches)
Width	170 mm
Number of rollers	9
Number of plates	2

Net weight	71 kg × 4
Maximum load capacity	4500 kg (per set)

Load capacity note: The specification 4500 kg (per set) must be used with its stated basis. Do not derive a higher platform load by simply multiplying this figure; load distribution, center of gravity and driving maneuvers must be considered in the design.

Mounting and mechanical connection of the NM375A

Before installing the NM375A, check the wheel interface, shaft diameter, fasteners, bearing arrangement and clearance for the rollers. Select the hub or coupling from the actual interface and technical drawing. Wheel diameter alone does not establish compatibility with a particular accessory hub.

To integrate the Nexus Robot NM375A, plan the wheel, hub or coupling and motor shaft as one mechanical connection. The specified 170 mm wheel width needs to be considered alongside the position of the motor in the frame. Use the mounting interface and available technical files to establish how the wheel is secured and how much space remains between the wheel body, frame and drive.

The rollers need clearance around the entire wheel circumference. Allow space for screw heads, brackets and side covers, and consider wheel position, ground clearance and support of the drive. Matching the shaft bore is only one part of selecting the connection: the hub interface and fasteners must also suit the wheel. When replacing a wheel on an existing chassis, compare the removed component before reusing its motor or bracket.

NM375A for AGV, AMR, driverless transport and industrial platforms

The Nexus Robot NM375A can be considered when designing a mobile industrial or transport platform, provided its specifications suit the intended task. In AGV, AMR and driverless transport concepts, lateral positioning may be useful when aligning a platform at a transfer point. The chassis, drives and controller need to be designed together to achieve the required movement.

The 375 mm (15 inches) diameter and Steel core, coated with Polyurethane roller material identify this wheel version. For warehouse, workshop or automated material handling applications, the load of the complete vehicle also matters. Include the frame, motors, battery, mounted equipment and transported goods. Use the capacity on the exact basis stated in the table; a capacity quoted for a set is not an individual-wheel rating.

For movable work platforms or stage installations, select NM375A for the actual chassis design. Unequal wheel loads, center of gravity and driving maneuvers can affect that design. Assess the roller material, running surface and mounting connection together with the intended use. The application descriptions provide selection context; the complete system still needs to be assessed for its task.

Planning the complete chassis with NM375A

The NM375A is a set of four wheels. Plan mounting positions before assembly and configure the controller for the actual wheel arrangement. The interface, wheel weight and intended maneuvers are relevant when choosing motors and hubs. A wheel set does not provide the design of the complete vehicle. Check mechanical connections, space requirements and permissible loading for all wheel positions together before building the chassis.
