Phidgets 3327_0 Stepper Motor
This NEMA-17 motor has an integrated planetary gearhead with a 26103/121:1 ratio. The rear shaft is exposed, so you can mount an encoder or shaft coupling.
At 1.7 amps, this stepper motor can produce a maximum torque of 77 kg-cm. However, the gearhead is only rated for 30 kg-cm of continuous torque, and 80 kg-cm for short overloads. If you load this geared stepper motor beyond the rated torque of the gearbox, its service life will be shortened.
Connection:
This motor must be controlled by a constant current or chopper drive controller.
Warning:
Connecting the motor directly to a power supply will destroy the motor and void the warranty. If you want to check your motor, make sure it is connected to a constant current/chopper drive controller.
