The Nexus Robot 48mm Omni Wheels for Hex Hubs 14038

This 48mm Omni Wheel is a robust omni wheel with unrestricted manoeuvring capabilities that is compatible with Mindstorm NXT. It can be used in a variety of ways, for both ground and inverted applications such as manual and powered conveyor systems, feeder rails, workstation turntables, robot wheels, etc. Its robust construction, as well as its unrestricted manoeuvring capabilities, allow this omni-wheel to be used in harsh environments and make it ideal for industrial applications. As with all Omni-Wheels, the tread of this Omni-Wheel consists of rollers whose axes of rotation are at a 90° angle to the wheel's axis of rotation. This allows the wheel to be moved in the axial direction of rotation. It is mounted in a fixed position and can move and rotate 360 degrees. The 48mm Omnium Wheel is supplied with an NXT-compatible hub and an axle centre hub for the Arduino Motors.
